Own A Taco Shop? How To Create The Ultimate Condiment Bar

Nothing goes better on top of a taco like having enough condiments and toppings to put on them. If you own a taco shop, you can save a lot of time and money by just offering people a few basics. For instance, you can give them their taco with meat and a tortilla, and then send them to a condiments bar to add hot sauce, Pico de Gallo, and some lime to their tacos. To help you create a taco bar that people are excited about, this article will take a closer look at a few things for you to add to it.

Have Plenty of Hot Sauces

One person who comes into your taco shop may prefer Cholula while someone else may want to try something local to your area. To make sure that you cover all of your bases, go to a hot sauce store near you and pick up a bunch of different kinds of hot sauce. Then, ask each person which type of sauce is their favorite. Hopefully, this will help you narrow down which types of hot sauces are the most successful and which ones you should be the most excited about.

Have Fresh Salsas

In addition to having a bunch of hot sauces, make sure that you have different types of fresh salsa available for your customers to try. For instance you can make simple red salsa that's blended so that it's really smooth. Then, you can make s similar salsa that's made out of tomatillos which will be a little bit sweeter than your traditional red salsa. For those that prefer something with more texture, don't forget to have some homemade Pico de Gallo for people to try. In the summertime, try making unique types of Pico de Gallo that have ingredients like peaches or mango in them in addition to tomatoes.

Have Plenty of Lime

Anybody knows that the true way to enjoy a Mexican style taco is to put a bunch of lime on top of it. Make sure that you order plenty of limes to cut every day so that everyone can have at least a slice to go with every taco. This will add that tangy flavor that everyone loves to have with their meat on their tacos.

You want your customers to come back over and over again to your taco shop. One of the best ways to do that is to have enough condiments for people to enjoy.
